Jeannette Fischer

Jeannette Fischer studied comparative religious studies in Athens and Tübingen, then switched to training as a Freudian psychoanalyst in Zurich. She worked in this profession in her own practice for more than 30 years.

She is deeply engaged with questions of violence, power and powerlessness. On these subjects she has curated exhibitions and made two documentary films. She has written several books, among others on hatred, fear and narcissism.
