Karsten Troyke

Karsten Troyke, singer and songwriter — above all an idiosyncratic performer — with a strangely raw voice. He is regarded as an ambassador of the Yiddish song, has appeared in radio plays, worked as a dubbing artist and been seen in a wide variety of stage productions.

He has been bringing programmes of songs and texts, folk songs and „Lieder der Welt“ to the stage since the 1980s, is once again writing his own songs and sings for freedom & peace.
